Malaysian Male Bloggers that i've met during the 1st Nuffnang Birthday Bash

At long last, i've met these Male Malaysian Bloggers here at the Nuffnang 1st Birthday Bash in KL. Its really interesting meeting up with these dudes whom are the ones blogging behind the computer and finally knowing them face to face. I've gained alot of friends through the blogsphere and will cherish those happy moments that i've collected during the trip to KL.

Although, i've not met all the other bloggers, i'm sure one day, Nuffnang will organise an even more successful event/platform that will bring all bloggers united as one both for both Singapore and Malaysia as well. Oh by the way, the Singaporean Bloggers have established a SPI network among the Nuffnangers here and yesterday, we had our first ever outing together too. That i will share with everyone in my next post at my other blog MyJameo.com or in short MYJ . Expect loads of laughter and joy reading my upcoming post on our little outing together with the other SPI members which Ming, Co-founder of Nuffnang and Executive Director has formalised officially and is also SPI's President as well.
Okay, lets keep everything short and sweet, now the pixs of the three Malaysian Bloggers whom i've met during this trip.

A picture with Boonage, a Malaysian Blogger whom i have enjoyed his company during the party. I've been wanting to meet him ever since reading his blogs which i've enjoyed so far. He shared with me that if i had uploaded bigger pixs it will be better and hence i took up his suggestion and have uploaded bigger pixs as far as i can. :DDD, thanks again pal. Oh and btw, he ranks as number three in the I Sleep better with Chipster contest and although he didn't won the contest, he divulged to me that he has spent around RM400 plus to purchase those around 200 over chipster packs. Kudos to you man...

Seraphangel (another Mr Angel) whom has won the top prize for the I Sleep Better with Chipster contest was another blogger whom i've met during this journey up KL. From my conversation with him, he seems to be a down to earth person and a friendly guy as well. From what i've gathered, he bought over 400 plus of chipster packs and spend a total of RM900 over dollars which secured him the first place in this contest and ultimately, it really paid off as he walked away from the sponsors a Macbook. :DDDD

He won the first prize (Macbook) and the guy whom helped Nuffnang grab hold of the Chipster sponsorship

The man himself, Mr Timothy Tiah - Executive Director and Co-founder of Nuffnang. I've read thru' his blogs so far and have enjoyed myself too. Daily musing and ramblings of his own life and sometimes with abit of twist here and there. Tim, you rock...

PS - I've not met the other blogger whom scored the second place among the chipster contest. Maybe in future, i will meet him (hahaha)

Robin Hood aka Timothy Tiah and his Wedding Adventures - Modern Day Version!

Today, is gonna be a great and wonderful celebration of the wedding between the handsome prince of thieves – Robin Hood aka Timothy Tiah from Malaysia and the beautiful princess from Singapore.

The king has passed a ruling that all his humble subjects are to follow along for this great celebration that will be held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in this Club called Borneo Baruk as Robin Hood is already very poor and cannot afford to hold a grand wedding in Singapore and hence it was decided to hold a much grander wedding celebration in KL.

The day has come where all the king’s subjects packed in a air-con coach and set off to KL. It was a pretty hot day and before you know it, all the king’s subjects were fast asleep except for one called the SPI Intelligence officer – Mr Chrispy crept silently to gather digital photos of those whom have fallen asleep during this journey.

Sorry pixs are a bit lop-sided ya...

The journey was a 6hrs trip and all the king’s subjects were complaining of hunger and hence the king’s subjects decided to take their lunch over at Yong Peng, the Ramli Burger at Yong Peng captivated everybody and soon everyone (well, not everyone)was queuing to buy its burger.

It was raining in KL where the wedding celebrations were being held but nevertheless, all the king’s subjects were present. Robin Hood’s brother, Ming and gang decided to employ four beautiful special ladies to entertain the crowd. They employed sailor moon, policewoman, maid and lastly my favorite of all times – Ms Nurse.

Soon, everyone was whisked into the hall of Borneo Baruk’s hall and the wedding celebrations began. There were food, drinks and plenty of prizes and games to go around. While everyone was enjoying and merry making, the Cape Crusader – Ms Dweam came flying into the club and this made the king’s royal subject shrieking and shouting “Who do you think you are, flying into the club without pior permission, guards seize her”.
But before anyone could react, she flew off again. Thinking to herself, “That was a close one, maybe next time, I should get my mum to give me a hand”.

Oh, for the records, all the invited guests all came by the king’s order to be dressed in their PJs. Although, quite reluctantly, everyone obeyed. (Actually, everyone came camwhoring in their PJs so much)

PPL even came with their cutie sleeping slippers as well...

Robin Hood’s buddies or thieves decided that they have too much plunders and decided to reward everyone with Nuffnang’s money with a bidding competition in the end. Everyone tried their best to win those Nuffang monies but only those lucky ones were able to bid for those Lumix digital cameras.

The Green Crusader decided to give one more try to upset the wedding celebrations coz she was very envious of the whole Nuffnang’s money bidding competition that everyone was enjoying.

Green Crusader : “Ah ha, little blue Robin Hood, you had better surrender yourself and come with me or else…your princess will be in deep shit”

Robin Hood : “You think you are who? Before I call for the guards, you have better release my sweet heart.”

Green Crusader : “So its true, you treasure your band of thieves more than your sugar honey sweet heart?” “I shall lock them up and you shall bid farewell to your lovely band of young thieves”.

Robin Hood : “Nooooooooooooooo, please don’t, I’ll do whatever you asked, but on one condition, spare them!”

Green Crusader : “Alright, first, put on those undies, you and your Ming, NOW…I don’t have much time.”

Robin Hood : “Arrrrhhhhhh, you win, Ms Green Crusaderrrrrrrrr”. “I shall never forget this humiliating spot you’ve put me in”.

Green Crusader : “Oh, we shall see then and thanks for the gifts – snatched the Ipod and flew off, together with her mum’s help.”

In order to pacify the angry crowd that was present this evening, Robin Hood decided to have the Malaysian Dreamgirls to come on stage and play games with them lead by the all famous – Mr Kennysia, judge for Malaysian Dreamgirls. The angry crowd immediately welcomed the girls on stage and even participated in the whole process.

And finally the grand finale. The wedding cake was brought up and to everyone’s astonishment, instead of the wedding couple, it turned out to be Robin Hood and his other half – Ming.

“Thinking to himself (Robin Hood), this must be the doing of Green Crusader, but how could she have known, Ming is actually my BF (closet),hmmmmmmmm”
PS - I want to wish Nuffnang much greater success with the skies the limit in its future undertakings

My first trip to Nuffnang 1st Birthday Bash in KL

Hi folks, i know all of you are waiting for this final moment in time and hence without further ado, here goes the first entry of my first trip to KL for Nuffnang 1st Birthday Bash in Borneo Baruk Club.

The first entry i'm gonna write about will have to be the co-sponsors of Nuffnang 1st Birthday Party Bash here - TUNES HOTELS.COM

What i liked about this budget hotel is that it boasts a clean & secure 5-star beds, power showers and lastly, i think has to be security. I remembered that when we returned from a late night supper and returned at around 1 or 2 plus in the wee mornings, the entrance door was shut and one will need to have your room magnetic swipe card with you in order to gain entrance. Pretty cool, i must say as these people here care about their hotel guest safety even though its a budget hotel.

Lastly, below are the pictures of the 5-star bed, toilet and what i liked most has to be their in-house flower pattern grafitti. Neat right?

The LRT is just a few minutes away from our hotel and also within walking distances, you will see the Asian Heritage Row where lots of PUBS and CLUBS are around for those party animals. We didn't party but had some food here before adjoining back to the hotel. I took a picture of the food cart which was serving food in satay sticks dipped in the hot steaming pot of soup for passer-bys wanting to have a quick and easy meal along the way.

Lastly, compliments from Tunes Hotel.

Stay tune to my next update on our Nuffnangers trip to KL.

My sponsored Trip to KL, Malaysia

I have received another email and this time round, they have attached a indemnity form, our day 1 & 2 itinerary and what to pack for this trip. On the 15th March 08, we the bloggers will make our way to the Nuffnang Office at Kinta Road at 8.10am on the day itself. The good people at Nuffnang also had a map attached for we bloggers as a quick reference on how to reach their office in Singapore.

Roughly around after lunch, we will reach Tunes Hotel which is our accommodation for the night. I can't wait to get there and start to do some shopping on my own, get to know some other bloggers as well too! Maybe talk to Xiaxue and learn some blogging tricks from her. Anyway, by 6pm, we the bloggers will be making our way to Borneo Baruk Club for the Nuffnang 1st Birthday Bash which will end by 10pm.

I also attach the pixs of Tunes Hotel which is built and managed by Air Asia (No Frills Budget Carrier). And when i meant no frills, there are no towels or toilet amenities which we will have to bring along ourselves as advised by the Nuffnang team. Anyway, i will update more when i'm back from the trip!
