Of my many backpacking trips, the ones that brings me fond memories has to be my trips to Australia and Nepal. In Australia, i backpacked and planned my own itinerary going from the city of Sydney to Melbourne. I stayed in a YHA, which is a youth hotel association and it was the best accommodation ever for me. In Sydney, i did a trek of the Blue Mountains and it was simply awesome. Next, while traveling in Melbourne, i did a tour of the Great Ocean Road which was a marvelous experience for me too. My trip to Nepal was fun and exciting but it was a tiring trip too. I wasn't really physically ready for the trek or climbing of the trekking route. But my guide cum porter was there to cheer me and encourage me to continue in my trip. Once during my stay in one of the villages, i was down with fever and i quickly took some fever medicines and went straight to bed. Before coming to Nepal, i have already bought my Travel Insurance and hence, i wasn't really scared coz i know i am well protected.
