What is the usage for Silver?

Do you know what is the common usage for silver? I was browsing through the internet and it was pretty well informed of its usage. I was really pleased with myself for going through this effort and at least, it helps me to improve in my knowledge of Silver, this precious metal.

Our Jewellery and silverware are made of Standard Sterling Silver which is 92.5% silver with 7.5% copper elements. And so you may ask why isn't our jewellery made of pure silver or pure copper? The reason behind is that Sterling Silver is much harder than pure silver or copper and has a lower melting point as well. This will be excellent when the jewellery or silverware craftsmen starts crafting the jewellery which are custom-made. Well, this is the little information that i found on the internet which i thought its useful to anyone wishing to know and see the difference between pure or sterling silver in the making.

Today, one can even invest in pure silver as a investment portfolio. The good people of Monex Deposit Company can help any individual wishing to invest in this commodity.
