Where is the Garden of Treasures??
Norbulingka, meaning "garden of treasures", is just 1km southwest of Potala Palace. It was built in 1755 as the Dalai Lamas' summer palace. Landscaped providently with pavilions, waterfront chambers, lakes and winding footpaths, the place looks more like a south Chinese garden. The garden also keeps deer, leopards, and some rare animals.
