Festival Periods here in Singapore

Hey, we will be celebrating our Chinese New Year soon which is around the corner, roughly another 4 months to go. Once Christmas and New Year comes and go, this festival period for the chinese will be here soon. Its a time of rejoicing, merry, lots of food, lots of gathering and also a time of renewing your relationship with your family members, love ones and friends. What do one normally do during this festival season? Normally in Singapore, it will be lots of eating and merrying. On the first day, normally, its a trend that the younger ones will visit the older folks to pay respect and get a Ang Bao (red packet which contains some notes inside). Ang Baos are given to those whom are not married yet which are still eligible to collect those red packets. But i guess this trend will soon die off, coz those working adults will be dead tired and will wish to stay at home and simply enjoy those holiday periods.

Some of the families in Singapore will also take this opportunity to travel out of Singapore and go to places where they don't celebrate Chinese New Year and where shops are still open. Here in Singapore, most of chinese shops will be closed for three days and above to celebrate this festival season. For some, it will be gambling time, friends, family members will join in and hope to win some extra money during this period. While surfing the internet, i saw this site at www.pro360.com which offers a review on the best casino online games there is in the net and other gambling games as well. I think i will introduce this site to my friends for them to try out this online site during the festival periods!
