Honkong, loving it

Our plans for this five days trip will be as follow:

Day 1 Arrival in Macao and check into hotel
Day 2 Depart by ferry to Hongkong and check into hotel and begin our shopping spree
Day 3 Shopping, shopping and more shopping
Day 4 Ocean Park Visitation and depart by ferry back to Macao
Day 5 Last minute shopping in Macao before home sweet home...

I've already tasted the shopping in Hongkong and hence since this is the first time that i'm bringing my sister there and its also her virgin trip, i played the tour leader most of the time. We went shopping at Temple Street, Ladies Street, Stanley Market for the whole of second day. We were exhausted at the end of the day, tired of a full day of walking and were really happy that at least our Hongkong accommodation was settled before we took a ferry into Hongkong.

My land operator has graciously hosted another 2 nights for me at this hotel called Dorsett Fareast located at Tsuen Wan. This neat 3 star hotel is a five-minute walk to the MTR or sub-way, its located in a hub of restaurants, shops, eateries. Its like in a mini neighbourhood by itself. When my sister and i reached the Kowloon Ferry Terminal, we took a cab there and it cost us less than $100 Hongkong dollars traveling there. Checked in and although its small but at least there is a decent shower facilities, a flat TV mounted on the wall for your viewing pleasures, no nice outside view but its okay, we will be scouring the downtowns of Hongkong and will be back in the night to sleep. LOL...

I didn't buy alot of stuff this time round, coz i've been to Hongkong earlier this year and have bought all that i could already...My sister bought the most things this trip, all in all, we spent around $700 sin dollars each (air-tickets + meals + transportation + shopping). I did bought again two bags, a few tees for CNY, a cap, bermudas.

Our last day in Hongkong, we decided to go for a Ocean Park trip as i've not been to this park before. Hence, my operator again sponsored me two tickets to visit this park with my sister. But you know what??? It was drizzling in the morning when we visited this park but we enjoyed ourselves there though. We took the air-balloon, watched the pandas sleeping in their enclosure. Bought some souvenirs back as well and watched the Dolphin and seal performance. It was a long rain, it rained so much like in the morning till the time we left which was around 4.30pm. Maybe God is punishing me for taking too much freebies from my operator.

Anyway, this late afternoon, we bid goodbye to Hongkong and bought our return ferry ticket back to Macao.
