My virgin trip onboard Jetstar Asia

It has been a long while since i updated this blog coz i was busy flying off on behalf of my company instead of my own holidays and hence, i separated my own fun with that of my company's sponsored working trips.

I do hope that there will be more to come, but nowadays, the taxes itself can really kill just planning for even a short trip now. Taxes going to Bangkok if you are flying by Thai Airways is around $270 which was around hundred plus a few months ago. So how to have a few trips in a year, i once read one will have to de-stress and go for a short holiday every three months, now if one can go every once a year will be a luxury affair...

Sorry for the rantings...now my own trip to Hongkong and Macao. I flew into Macao with Jetstar and i must complain that the seats itself was a leather seat but....seat to seat itself was rather cramp and hence if you are a big size fellow, you might suffer the inconvenience of having to cramp your legs and stuff like that...

Another thing is that if you are boarding for Jetstar in Singapore, the boarding gate is far far away at the end of the boarding terminal and if you are old and have difficulties walking you might not enjoy your journey the first part though.

Hey, one thing i did discover while waiting in the boarding area is that you can actually bring in your own water bottle and fill it up with the water fountain found inside the boarding area. I saw some aunties doing that and i think its really a neat way of saving your money especially flying on a budget carrier with no frills...Onboard just buying a small bottle of mineral water will cost one a hefty $3 dollars where if one goes and buy one in the supermarket will only cost lesser than or half of the price you paid onboard the flight.

It is my first virgin flight onboard this Jetstar and i think i will not take this flight again, i will try to pay more where i can enjoy meals, drinks and everyone gets to have it and not where one have to pay to eat or drink where the rest will have to look on, stare and smell...LOL, i remember that they served chicken rice on my coming back flight to Singapore, so can you imagine the whole flight smell of chicken rice and GARLIC.....LOL

My first night was hosted by my land operator and he helped me book at this hotel called Pousada Marina Infante Hotel . Its located just infront of the river with nice natural views, the rooms were fine and breakfast was normal and edible. I like that they have shuttle services that runs to/fro to the jetty terminal over at Macao Island which is a plus point and i think others are also doing it as well, well not everyone of them, but some of the prestigious ones. You might want to check over the internet whether they provide such a service. Funny thing is that they don't serve a shuttle service to/fro the Macao International Airport which is a mere 10mins drive away and its in Taipa Island itself.

Remember to change some Macao Money when you land in the Macao International Airport. Okay, now pixs time...
